Bessie Fudge

Bessie Jalyn (McLeroy) Fudge of Cookville, passed away in Mount Pleasant, TX on February 7, 2018. She was 74.
She was born on June 7, 1943 in Camp, TX to Moses McLeroy and Charlie Jo (Griggs) Adkison.
Ms. Fudge was a longtime member of Cypress Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant.
She is survived by her son, Warren Fudge, of Cookville, TX; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Candy Fudge Lambert & Rob Lambert of Lowell, AR; granddaughter, Neslie Fudge of Rowlett, TX, 3 great-grandchildren, Reese Fudge, Anya Forman & William Fudge of Rowlett, TX; brother, Jesse Adkison of Broken Bow, OK; sister & brother-in-law, Kathleen (Ludy) & John (Mat) Gibson, of Mount Pleasant, TX; brother & sister-in-law; William S. (Stevie) & Wanda Adkison of Cookville, TX; sister-in-law, Cora Mae McLeroy of Mount Pleasant, TX; ex-daughter-in-law, Michell Newberry of Garland, TX; numerous nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, William Russell "Rusty" Fudge; her parents, Moses McLeroy & Charlie Jo (Griggs) Adkison; her step father, William A. (Willie) Adkison; her brother, Johnny McLeroy; and her sister-in-law, Marsha Adkison.
Visitation will be held at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home on February 10, 2018 at 9:00 am. Funeral service will follow at 10:00 am.
