Billy Austin

Billy Douglas Austin, age 59, of Mount Pleasant, died on Friday, April 5, 2013 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church at 10:00 A.M. Saturday April 13, 2013 with Bro. Craig Stuart officiating. Inurnment will be at Center Grove Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
He was born March 1, 1954 in Scotts Bluff, Nebraska to Guy Austin Jr. and Bonnie Mae Randall Austin. He was employed as a truck driver for Cox Logistics in Lone Star, TX.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Austin; a daughter, Khira Austin; grandchildren, Tyler Moss, Dylan Williams and Cheyanne Williams; step-son, Jeff Derrick; step-daughter, Jennifer Derrick; brother and sister-in-law, James and Julie Austin; brother, Teddy Austin; sister and brother-in-law, Gaylene and Ralph Alford and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Darrell Austin, David Austin and Danny Austin and a daughter, Linda Jean Austin.
