Bobbie Hale

Bobbie Nell Hale, age 85, of Cookville passed away on Monday, October 5, 2015 at her residence.
Memorial services will be held on Friday October 16, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant with the Rev. Shane Webb officiating.

Bobbie was born on March 1, 1930 in Electra TX to Mr. and Mrs. William and Sarah Phillips Burns. She married George W. Hale on December 25, 1946 in Electra TX. Bobbie was a school teacher and librarian in Houston TX. She was actively involved in the Mt. Pleasant Garden Club and the Texas Retired Techers Association. She also volunteered at the Titus County Cares Food Bank.
She is survived by her sons; Bobby Hale and wife Nita of Tomball TX, and Mark Hale and Wife Sharon of Cookville TX., grandchildren; Keith Hale and wife Rebecca, Christie Simpson and husband Brady, Alan Hale and wife Melissa, Erik Hale and wife Tracy, Carla Dawson and husband Ben, Darla Conner and husband Josh, Kayla Thompson and husband Joseph, Twillia Fontenot and husband David, great grandchildren; Jake Hale, Brittian and Jett Simpson, Reagan and Kinley Hale, Cooper and Macy Hale, Zoey Conner, Zada Thompson, and Alexis Dawson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Sarah Burns, her husband, George Wayne Hale, and a son John Hale.

The Hale family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Heart to Heart Hospice and the First Presbyterian Church.
