Buddy Ryan

Buddy Ryan, age 47, of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, passed away on October 1^st, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. Buddy was born on November 21, 1974, to Parents Perry and Linda Ryan in Mt. Pleasant, Texas.

Buddy graduated from Northeast Texas Community College with an Associate’s degree in Machinery and worked as a transmission mechanic for many years. Buddy was known for his ability to fix or build anything. Anytime he had a friend or loved one who needed something fixed or designed, Buddy was always the first one they would call. He loved to laugh, and he kept everyone around him laughing. His pride and joy was his 2016 Chevy truck. Anita Ruth Elliott was known as Buddy’s “spoilt rotten child.” She was his baby girl that he loved with all his heart.

Buddy is survived by his mother, Linda; brother, Glen Ryan and wife Lisa; brother, Robert Ryan; sister, Christie Ryan; nephews, Daniel Ryan and Paul Ryan Jr.; niece, Makynlee Ryan; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, loved ones and friends.

Buddy was preceded in death by his father, Perry Lee Ryan; brother, Paul W. Ryan; grandparents, Pershing Ryan, Juanita Cranford Ryan, Thomas Benefield, and Lula Faye Lockabay Benefield.

Visitation for Buddy will be held at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at 12:00 PM. The Funeral will begin at 1:00 PM. Graveside will follow at Union Hill Cemetery.
