Candye Annette Hunnicutt

Memorial service for Candye Hunnicutt, age 70, of Mount Pleasant will be held at 2PM on October 16, 2026 at Curry-Welborn Funeral Chapel with Pastor Randy Seybert officiating. Ms. Hunnicutt passed away at Pleasant Springs Healthcare Center on October 11, 2026.

Candye Hunnicutt was born on January 4, 1956 in Mount Pleasant to James and Ruth (Vaught) Hunnicutt. Candye served the majority of her career as a Registered Nurse at Titus County Memorial Hospital, but also spent two years as a traveling nurse. She enjoyed her beloved pets, nature, painting, and was a faithful congregant of Church on the Rock in Daingerfield.

Candye is survived by her mother Ruth Lide as well as her siblings Dale Hunnicutt, Kevin Hunnicutt, and Brian Lide. She was preceded in death by her father James Hunnicutt.
