Cara Homan

Cara Jean (West) Homan, age 76, passed away April 21, 2022, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Jean was born on September 11, 1945, in Mt. Texarkana, Texas to Ruby (Dennis) and Loyal West. She was married to the love of her life Donnie for 52 years.

Jean was a homemaker, a member of the Branson Polio Group, and member of Landmark Pentecostal Church in Texarkana Texas for 64 years. She was also a current member of Life Church in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

Jean is survived by her husband, Donnie Homan; her children, Jeff and Teresa Homan of Lincoln, Nebraska, Donna and Anthony Rasor of Mount Pleasant, Texas, and Jonathan Homan of Texarkana, Texas; 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 2 nieces.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Loyal and Ruby West; her brother, Tony West; and her daughter-in-law, Connie Sparrow Homan.
