Carolyn Darnell Phillips

Carolyn Phillips, age 75, of Mount Pleasant, Texas passed away in Paris, Texas on Monday, June 24, 2024. Carolyn was born on December 24, 1948, to Harlin and Ava Nell Sutton in Marcella, Arkansas. Carolyn married Alex Phillips on December 23, 1967, in Michigan. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will surely be missed.

She is survived by her husband, Alex Phillips, daughters; Sandra Tucker, Victoria Phillips, and Natalie Smith, sons; Michael Phillips, Jeremy Phillips, and Matthew Phillips; sister, Kathy Kalinski, as well as 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Ava Nell and Harlin Sutton, and her grandson, Darren Phillips.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted with Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
