Charline Horton

Charline L. Horton, 82, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014 in Terrell. She was born to N.R. and Mary Belcher Sweeden on May 4, 1931. She is survived by a son Dudley and wife Andrea Horton, of Terrell, daughter Mary Ann Shults, of Mt. Pleasant, and daughter Rita Knight, of Troup. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents N. R. Sweeden and Mary Catherine Smith, a brother, Everret Sims, of Houston, and sisters Margaret Armstrong, of California, Ester Johnson, of Utah, and Pricilla Boone, of Amarillo.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 26 at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant from 3:00P.M. to 5P.M.
