David Francis Scott

David Francis Scott, age 66, of Mount Pleasant, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at his home.

David Francis Scott was born on December 2, 1959, in Meridian, Mississippi to Bobby Scott and Joanne (Fletcher) Scott. He married his beloved wife, Kelley (Thompson) Scott on November 23, 2002, in Hughes Springs, Texas.

David is survived by his wife, Kelley Scott of Mount Pleasant, TX, his children; Krystal Evers of Gladewater, TX, Melissa Hunter and her husband, Lance of Mount Vernon, TX, Bridget Peacock and her husband, Jamey of Pittsburg, TX, Timothy Mitleff of Mount Pleasant, TX, his grandchildren; Hunter Evers of Gladewater, TX, Conner Mitleff of Mount Pleasant, TX, Payson Mitleff of Pittsburg, TX, Ryder Mitleff of Mount Pleasant, TX, Destinie Mitleff of Longview, TX, and Preslee Hunter, his great-grandchildren; Damani Hunter, Kendall Mitchell, Kameryn Mitchell, and Kinsley Mitleff. He is also survived by his brother, Allan Scott and sister-in-law, Penny Scott of Mount Pleasant, TX.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Bobby and Jo ann Scott, and his brother, Robby Scott.
