Eddie Dean Whitney

Eddie Dean Whitney, age 71, passed away on June 14, 2022, in Bonham, TX. Eddie was born on July 29, 1950, in Talco, TX to parents, Milton and Mable Whitney.

Eddie is survived by his nephew, Jimmy Milner and wife Kim of Greenville, TX, Scott Sugg of Greenville, TX, Woody Whitney of Avinger and several great nieces and nephews.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Mable Whitney, his brother Charles Whitney and his sister, Betty Lee Whitney.

After graduating highschool Eddie immediately enrolled in the Military, where he had a career in the Army stretching a decade long. Eddie fought in Vietnam and throughout his entire life was very proud that was in the United States Military and he considered it an honor serving his country.

Visitation for Eddie will be held at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home. Graveside will follow at Talco Cemetery.
