Gaylon Barrow

Gaylon Barrow, age 86, of Mount Pleasant, Texas, passed away on November 26, 2024, in Tyler, Texas. 

Gaylon was born on September 28, 1938, in Mount Pleasant, Texas to Earl Oscar Barrow and Juanita (Alexander) Barrow. He married his beloved wife, Glenda Gay (Gibson) Barrow on May 7, 1960, in Talco, Texas. He served in the National Guard as Sergeant Gaylon Barrow for 31 years. He also worked for Harts Bluff School District as a custodian. 

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Gay Barrow, his sons; Earl Gibson Barrow, and wife, Donna-Maria, Gregory Mark Barrow, and wife, Jennifer, his daughter, Michele Lynn Barrow, his grandchildren; Brittny Starr, and husband, Ben, Ashley Miller, and husband, David, Meghan Adamcik, and wife, Kathyrn, Morgan Davis, and husband, Jon, Davis Barrow, Paige Barrow, Grace Barrow, Ragan Barrow, and his 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his nieces; Mitzi Cameron, and Sharon Jones. 

Gaylon was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Juanita Barrow, his brother, Jerry Barrow, and his granddaughter, Allie Barrow.
