Harriett Klesa

Harriett "Beth" Klesa, age 71, of Mount Pleasant passed away February 9, 2015 in Mount Pleasant. Services will be held Thursday, February 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home with Bro. Tuffy Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Farmers Academy Cemetery.
Harriett was born February 7, 1944 to Frank Frycek and Hariett Miller-Frycek in Elmira, NY. She was the third of seven children. She grew up on the family farm on the Veterians Hill Road in Horseheads, NY, and graduated from Horseheads High School in 1962. Beth married Gary Klesa on November 16, 1962. After they married, she worked for Bell Telephone and became the first female frame "man" in Corning, NY. In 1978 Beth and Gary moved their family to Texas where she worked in accounting and later retired in 2009 from Pilgrims Pride as an Executive Assistant in the Marketing Department. Beth was a Christian and had attended St. Marks Epicopal Church. Beth's greatest joy in life was her family and especially her family.
She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Victoria and Denzel Clark of Tyler, TX; Amy and Doyle Ashley of Omaha, TX; grandchildren, Brittany Young, Ben and Lacie Cameron, Alannah and Lawson Clark, Dylan Ashley; great grandchildren, Creed Young, Cheyenne Cameron, a great grandson due in May; sisters, Barbara Frycek, Fay and husband Leon Mayshak; brothers, Ronald and wife Judy Frycek, Leonard Frycek; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Dick Turner; brother-in-law, James Klesa; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Harriett Miller-Frycek; husband, Gary Klesa; sister, Shirley Hall; brother, Joe Frycek; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ford and Jolina Klesa.
Pallbears are, Doyle Ashley, Dylan Ashley, Ben Cameron, Lawson Clark, Denzel Clark, and Nick Lewis.
Honorary Pallbearers will be, Jerry Shelton, Creed Young, and Alannah Clark.
Informal viewing hours will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
