Henry Moss, age 82, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2015 At Titus Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home Saturday, September 26,2015 at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow at Farmers Academy Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Bro. Chuck Hinson. Pallbearers include Billy George, Stephen Bryan, Donald Craig, Drew Craig, Henry Craig, William Hargett.. A visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2015 at Curry Welborn Funeral Home.
Mr. Moss was born on June 28, 1933 in Mt. Pleasant, TX, to Henry and Minnie (Miller) Moss. He married Lois Fay Johnson on September 30, 1956. He was a member of Damascus Missionary Baptist Church. Mr. Moss is survived by his wife, Lois Fay Moss of Mt. Pleasant; son, Ross Moss and wife Anita of Mt Pleasant, Grandchildren: Jason Moss and wife Linzi of Mt. Pleasant, Stacey Huffines and husband John of Mt. Pleasant, Kayland Avila and husband Noe of Mt. Pleasant, Cassondra Heitzman of Dallas, James Heitzman of Dallas, Alicia Nance and husband Brandon of Mt. Pleasant.Great-Grandchildren: Valerie Moss, J.C. Moss, Khloe Huffines, Maddison Heitzman, David Diggs, Ethan Nance, and Lanna Nance. Brother: J.D. Johnson and wife Lola Fay of Avenger, Carl Johnson and wife Maureen of Hugh Springs, sister-in-law: Erma Craig of Mt. Pleasant, and Louise Johnson Hugh Springs, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mr. Moss is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Minnie Moss; two brothers, nine sisters, and nephew: Cleve Johnson.
