Hubert Phifer

Hubert Dean Phifer, age 71 of Mount Pleasant, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 in Mount Pleasant. Graveside services will be held Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Cooper's Chapel Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 24, 2016 from 9:00-11:00A.M. at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.

Hubert was born in Mount Pleasant on August 17, 1944 to Marvin Lee and Lucille Phifer. He was retired from Dr. Reichert, spent over twenty years raising honeybees, was a passionate gardener, and a faithful Christian who knew the entire Bible.

He is survived by his children; Karen Charlton, Wayne Phifer, Robby Phifer, his brother Alan Phifer and sisters Reba Newman and husband Taylor and Gaylon VanBuskirk, grandchildren, Damon Bell, Jerrica Perales, Justin Phifer, Brittany Phifer, Shyann Phifer, and great grandchildren Caydence Perales and Korin Bell

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Lucille Davis Phifer, brother Travis Phifer, and grandson Dakota Charlton.
