Ila McGonagill

Visitation for Ila Gean Goss McGonagill, age 92, of Titus County will be Sunday, May 30 at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. A graveside service will follow immediately after at Nevill’s Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Randy Sinclair officiating.

Gean was born March 1, 1929, in Titus County, to William “Bill” and Lilli McGonagill.

Gean is survived by her daughter and husband, Patsy and Wayne Easley of Mount Pleasant; son and wife, Gary and Lynn McGonagill of Mount Pleasant; son and wife, Dale and Cathy McGonagill of Mount Pleasant; son, Robie McGonagill of Mount Pleasant; and grandchildren: Brandon, Aaron, and Justin Easley, Geana Easley and husband Matt Jones, Andrea Easley and husband Scott Holcomb, Maranda McGonagill and husband Adam Martin, Rusti McGonagill, Holly McGonagill, Robie Trenton McGonagill, and Rylie Hardison. She is also leaving behind 16 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Gean is preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Alexander McGonagill; parents, William ‘Bill’ M. Goss and Lillie B. Cherry Goss; brothers, Elbert and Elvis Goss; sisters, Wanda Goss Milner and Shirley Goss Thompson; and grandson, Jerrod Easley.
