James Drew Austin

James Drew Austin, age 68, of Mount Pleasant, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

James Austin was born on December 31, 1957 in Rogers, Arkansas to Guy Austin Jr. and Bonnie (Randall) Austin. He married the love of his life Julie (Taylor) Austin in July of 1982 in Riverton, Wyoming. James was a dedicated father, husband, and an owner of a truck driving company (RSTK Transportation). James was a great example of how old fashioned hard work and sheer persistence can truly move mountains.

James is survived by his loving wife, Julie Austin, his kid, grandkids, his sister and his brother.
