James was born on March 12, 1948 in Ardmore, Ok to James and Angie Cagle. James graduated with a Bachelors of business from Oklahoma Baptist University.
He is survived by first wife Janene Cagle; second wife, Verna Heck; sons, J.R. Cagle of Fresno, California and James M Cagle of Mount Pleasant, Texas.
James was preceded in death by his parents.
