Jane Redfearn-McElyea

Jane Redfearn-McElyea, age 71, passed away on June 7, 2022, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. She was born to Marshall and Jennie Lee (Rushing) Redfearn on July 7, 1950, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Jane loved her family, gospel music, and playing cards. She was employed by Southwestern Bell for many years and was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church. Her unique sense of humor will be missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her sisters, Betty Newman and Carolyn Winn of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Jennie Lee Redfearn; husband, Jimmy McElyea; brothers, Mike Redfearn and Neil Redfearn; and sisters, Marian Wilson, Linda Reed, and Becky Pounders.

The date for her memorial service is yet to be announced.  

Cremation services are under the direction of Curry-Welborn funeral home.
