Jerry Evans

Jerry Carl Evans, age 81, of Mt. Pleasant, TX passed away on January 14, 2020 at his home. Jerry was born on June 13, 1938 in Mt. Pleasant to Van Evans and Iola Hayes Evans.

There will be a funeral service held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Shady Grove Christian Church. Burial will follow at Reynolds Cemetery.

He is survived by his children Johnnie Carl Evans and wife Twyla Evans, Betty Moore and husband Walter Moore, Larry Evans and wife Shelia Evans, Walter Evans, Sherry Ivory, Irma Brown, Bearnice Evans, Geneva Evans; special friend, Sarah Ann Police; siblings, Florene Williams, VA Evans, Jenny Brown, Arthur Evans and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Ollie Mae Evans, daughter Rosie Evans, brother, Johnny B. Evans and his sister, Mary Lou Grant.
