Jerry Neal Thompson passed away on September 1st, 2026, in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
Jerry Neal Thompson was born on May 17, 1937 to Herman and Jimmie Thompson in Henderson, Tennessee. He married his loving wife, Pauline Aigner, on August 14, 1965. Jerry was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Nevill’s Chapel Baptist Church, and Master Mason Life Member #1290, as well as a Life Member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. He was the proud owner of Thompson Fuel Stop, and Maine T Ranch. He loved his family and spoiled his grandchildren. He loved traveling, horses, and cattle. Jerry could be described as a jokester.
Jerry is preceded in death by his mother, Jimmie Raney Thompson, father, Herman “Doc” Thompson, and brother, Don Thompson.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his loving wife, Pauline Thompson, daughter and son-in-law Annette & Robert Kenney, son and daughter-in-law Curtis & Ashley Stewart, grandchildren Jerry Neal & Meaghan Kenney, Hunter & Mykla Kenney, McCall & Chase Higginbotham, Candace & Bobby Larue, and Will Stewart, Great grandchildren Ember Kenney, Asher Kenney, Kallie Kenney, Tate Kenney, Lake Prosser, Mara Prosser, Lila Higginbotham, Diana Larue, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The Family would like to thank Greenhill Villas, TRMC, and hospice for showing compassion and taking care of Jerry during this difficult time.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
