Jimmy Lyles

Jimmy Ray Lyles, age 77 of Mount Pleasant, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 in Mount Pleasant. Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Pleasant at 3:00 P.M. with Bro. Dan Boler officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.

Jimmy was born in Winfield Texas on November 26, 1938 to Robert and Florence Lyles. He served in the US Navy and was a member of the VFW in Mount Pleasant.

He is survived by his sons Randy and wife Renae Lyles of Mount Pleasant, Robert and wife Kayla Lyles of Mount Vernon; grandchildren Randy Lyles Jr., Ryan and wife Kacy Lyles, Rance Lyles, Grace Lyles, Robert Michael Lyles of Fort Worth, and Scarlet Michelle Lyles of Fort Worth; great grandchildren Ryder Lyles and Raef Lyles; sister Evelyn Blair and husband Tommy and brother Billy Gene Lyles; and numerous nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his wife Marie Lyles and parents Robert Worth and Florence Lyles.
