John Gray

John Wesley Gray was born October 13, 1972 in Mt. Pleasant, TX. He was the son of Leonard and Doris Hooks Gray. He passed away on June 30, 2019 in Ft. Worth, TX.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Gray; Sisters Veronica Gray and Shelley Nicole Palmer; grandparents, Herman and Susie Hooks; Uncle Arthur Ell Hooks and Grandmother Lucille Gray.

He is survived by his mother Doris Hooks Gray of Fort Worth, TX; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Leonard Dexter Gray and wife Teneisha, Kevin Ray Gray and Bianca Gray of Fort Worth, TX; uncles, aunts and spouses, Ruby Faye Bell of Tyler, TX, Ruby Jewel Minter of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Willie Herman and Mari Hooks of Lone Star, TX, Harold Ray and Mary Hooks of Longview, TX; niece and nephews, James, Dewayne, Greg, Joseph, Janea, Kevion, Qualon Gray, Jamorion Knox and Lil Steve; nieces Chovonne, Deshunmanique Gray and Brianna Gray and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home with interment to follow at North Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
