John L. Hill, age 74, of Atlanta, TX, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024. John was born to John Alton Hill and Emma Mae McGown-Hill on October 24, 1949, in Ashdown, Arkansas. John married the love of his life, Brenda Roberts-Hill, on August 11, 1972 in Ashdown, Arkansas.
John is survived by his wife Brenda Hill, his children; Kerry Hill-Wright, Joyce Hill-Smith, brothers; Carl Hill, James Hill, Leon Hill, Marvin Hill, sister, Emma Latimer. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
John is preceded in death by his daughter Kerry Wright and parents, John Alton Hill and Emma Mae Hill.
Cremation arrangements is under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
