Johnny Gray

Johnny Barton Gray went home to Jesus on Saturday, February 11, 2023.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sherry Gray. His son Shawn Gray and his wife Brittany and their children, Addison and Philip. His daughter Kayla Holley and her husband Randy and their children, Declan and Meredith. His daughter Terrie Gray. His sister Kathy Grabill and her husband Bruce. His brother Tony Gray and his wife Rosemary and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his mother Kathryn Gray, father RB Gray, granddaughter Maelynn Holley and numerous other family and friends.

Johnny was an awesome man of God who loved Jesus, his family and his music. With a little help from YouTube, he could fix and/or build anything he set his mind to doing. After working for years in the local petroleum plants around Houston, he formed JBG Specialty Services in Alvin, TX and remodeled homes for 28 years. He retired from public work in 2020 and moved to Pittsburg TX and began living his dream. 

A memorial service will be held at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, TX on March 11^th at noon.
