Linda Fern Young

Memorial service for Linda Fern Young (Murray), age 76, of Paris, Texas will be held at a later date. Ms. Young passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 31, 2025, surrounded by her family.

Linda was born on May 4, 1949, in Lamar County, Texas to Tom Murray and Ruby (Sharp) Murray.

Linda spent her life caring for others.

Linda is survived by her daughters; Jeri Johanson and husband, Jason of Paris, TX., Lavada Coomer and spouse, Demetrio of Winfield, TX., her brother, Sammy Murray of Paris, TX., her sister, Pat Dyer of Irving, TX., her grandchildren; Joy Kanengeiser and husband, Randy of Winnsboro, TX., Ashley Rogers and husband, Kevin of Scroggins, TX., Kaleb Young and spouse, Charity of Clayton, OK., Savanah Young and husband, Colton of Hooks, TX., Isabella Johanson of Paris, TX. She is also survived by her 16 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Ruby Murray, her son, Jeremy Shane Young, her brothers; John Murray, Tommy Murray, Jimmy Murray, and Larry Murray, her sisters; Alice Mullins and Junita Hartunnian.
