Louise Horton-Stacks

Louise Horton Stacks born Jan 4, 1930, in Mt Pleasant Tx to Hull and Maggie Horton. Passed away peacefully at home Sunday night, October 9, 2022.

Survived by her sons Gary Stacks and Bob Stacks, both of Mt Pleasant; daughter in law Wanda Morrison and husband Mike of Mt Pleasant, son in law Craig Rutledge and wife Renea of Mt Pleasant, daughter in law Cheryl Stacks of Tyler, son in law John Hulse and wife Anne of Frisco; sister Inez Stroman and husband Hilton of Lone Star, sister in law Ruenell Martin of Sulphur Springs, sister in law Thelma Woodall of Texarkana; grandchildren Susan and Ray Yokel, Michael and Jenny Grammer, Karen Flowers, Stephen and Jennifer Garretson, Lisa Anderson, Melissa Garretson Vainauskas, Paula and Chris Maldonado, Jerimiah and Sara Wilson, Brad and Erika Hulse, Gary Lee Stacks, Kelly and Daniel Payette, Crystal Stacks, Victor and Victoria Rutledge, and Dakota Stacks; numerous great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Billy Stacks, son Rodney Stacks, daughter Dottie Garretson and husband Wayne, daughter Betty Rutledge, son Ricky Stacks, son Billy Dale Stacks, daughter Ann Hulse, and daughter in law Selena Stacks; brothers Leonard, James, John, Fred, and Harold; Sisters, Nina and Edna. 

Louise was also a long-time member of East Side Missionary Baptist church.

Visitation will be held Friday October 14 from 6 to 8pm at Curry Welborn Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday October 15 at 12 noon at Nevills Chapel Baptist Church, graveside service to follow at Nevills Chapel Cemetery.
