Louise Heck Perry, a cherished soul whose kindness and compassion touched the lives of many, passed away on April 30, 2024. She was 96 years old.

Born on April 26, 1927, in the picturesque town of Raton, New Mexico, Louise's life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and generosity. From her earliest days in the Southwest, she embodied values of warmth, empathy, and unwavering devotion to her loved ones.

Louise's journey was marked by the love and companionship of two remarkable men. In the 1940s, she married Winford, with whom she shared many beautiful years of marriage until his passing. Later in life, she found love again and married Holt, who brought immense joy and companionship into her life until his passing.

Louise was a devoted wife, mother, and friend throughout her life. She poured her heart and soul into nurturing her children—Bill, Mike, Kay, and Jim—with boundless love, wisdom, and encouragement. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and hospitality, where every guest was welcomed with open arms and a genuine smile.

Beyond her role as a family matriarch, Louise was a beacon of light in her community. She dedicated herself to serving others, volunteering her time and resources to support those in need. Her acts of kindness and generosity touched countless lives, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.

Louise's legacy of love and compassion will endure in the hearts of her loved ones. She is survived by her children, Bill and Jim; her grandchildren, April, Kyle, Michael, Brandon, Nicolas, Andie, Andrea, Chris, Cody, Bradley, Tristan, and Katherine; and a host of extended family members and friends who will carry her memory with them always.

Louise's life will be celebrated on June 1, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Rockhill Cemetery, located at 1 County Road SE 4220, Mt. Vernon, TX 75457. This serene setting will provide the perfect opportunity to honor Louise's life and legacy amidst the beauty of nature.
