Lynda Anne (Jennings) Elliott

Lynda Anne (Jennings) Elliott, age 83, of Omaha, Texas passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025, in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

Lynda Anne Elliott was born on January 30, 1942, in Houston, Texas. She graduated from Smiley High School in Houston, Texas. Lynda loved rodeos and horses. She was barrel racer for 50 years and competed professionally for 25 years. Her commitment to the sport was evident not only in the numerous competitions she triumphed in, but also in the countless friendships she forged along the way. Each event was not just a competition, but a cherished opportunity for Lynda to connect with fellow rodeo athletes, sharing laughter and camaraderie that enriched her life and the lives of others.

Lynda is survived by her only child, Twyla Crawford, and her son-in-law, Jason Crawford, her granddaughter, Tara Carr and husband, Matt, her grandson, Ross Navarro, and her two great-grandchildren: Rylee and Ava Carr. She is also survived by her special friend, Morgan Rogers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved grandson, and her husband, James Elliott.
