Maddox Thomas Moore

    Maddox Thomas Moore, 23, of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, passed away at his home on August 28,

2026. He was born in Norman, Oklahoma and raised in Coppell, Texas. Maddox was the son of

Suzanne Knight Sisk and Thomas Guy Moore II, and the stepson of James Gatlen Sisk.

Maddox graduated from the Carroll Shelby Automotive Institute at NTCC with his AAS degree

and specialized certifications in automotive and EV technology. He was proud of his training and

carried a natural talent for understanding how things worked — whether engines, electronics, or

anything he could take apart and rebuild.

   Maddox had just started working at Elliott Ford. Previously, he worked at Curry Welborn Funeral

Home, where his kindness, curiosity, and steady work ethic left a lasting impression on

coworkers and friends.

    A creative spirit with a sharp sense of humor, Maddox loved the offbeat corners of life. He

enjoyed graffiti art, anime, BBQ, Japanese food and history, skiing, sketching, fishing,

experimenting with new recipes and taking trips to Colorado. He sang loudly in the shower,

never drove anywhere without an eclectic playlist, and was always ready with a fun fact — the

kind of random, clever detail that made conversations with him unforgettable. Maddox also had

a deep love for animals, especially cats, who seemed to recognize his gentle nature instantly.

    He loved and adored his siblings — Natalie Towe, Aubrie Sisk, and Cole Sisk — as well as his

brother‑in‑law, Kevin Towe, and his nephews, Jackson and Logan Towe. Maddox is also

remembered by grandparents, Bryan and Karen Knight and many aunts and uncles.

Maddox will be remembered for his originality, loyalty, and the fierce love he carried for his

family. Maddox said, “you always show up for family”.

   Though his life was far too short, Maddox filled it with color, curiosity, and heart. Those who

loved him will carry his spirit — and his fun facts — with them always. The family will have a

private Remembrance Day in Coppell.
