Funeral service for Marina Acuna Cortez, age 79, of Mount Pleasant will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
Ms. Cortez passed away at her residence on November 4, 2024. Marina Acuna Cortez was born on December 26, 1944, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Flavio Acuna and Guadalupe Cortez.
Marina is survived by her daughter, Marina Cano, her granddaughter, Alejandra Cano, and her grandsons; Luis Cano and Sebastian Cano.
