Mary Lee Edwards, age 80, of Mount Pleasant, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 in Pittsburg, Texas.

Mary Lee (Bookout) Edwards was born on July 3, 1945 in New Boston, Texas to Dalton Bookout and Norma (Johnson) Bookout.

Mary is survived by her son, James Wiggins of Cookville, TX, her daughter-in-law, Tawana Tefteller of Cookville, TX, her brother, Donnie Bookout, and wife, Debbie of Cooper, TX, her step-mother, Joyce Bookout of Madill, OK, her step-daughter, Elizabeth Villanueva and husband, Jose of Mesquite, TX, her granddaughter, Jenna Jacobs, her bonus sons; Chris Pool of Texarkana, AR, and Charles Landers of Bogata, TX, her sister-in-law, Jeri Ann Brock of Bedford, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Dalton and Norma Bookout, her sisters; Delta Jean Bookout and Dorris McMillan, her brother, Jimmy Bookout, and her husbands; James Wiggins and Billy Edwards.
