Mary Ann Reese

Mary Ann Reese, age 83, of Pittsburg, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 27, 2026, in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

Mary Ann Reese was born on May 16, 1942 to Harold Sheets and Lucille (Morris) Sheets in Wewoka, Oklahoma.

Mary was a woman of strength; she brought warmth, laughter and kindness to all those who knew her. She loved sharing stories with friends and family. She was loved by so many, and will be dearly missed.

Mary is survived by her aunt, Lenora Travis, her cousins; Bobby Morris and wife, Marilyn, John Morris and Stephanie Binkley, Addison Binkley, and Bryadon, She is also survived by her partner, Kim Harden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, James Sheets.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ASPCA or Mount Pleasant Animal Care and Adoption Center in honor of Mary’s love for animals.
