Matilde Mendez, age 74, of Mount Pleasant, Texas, passed away on April 9, 2024 at her residence. Matilde was born to Apolinar Gonzalez and Rosa Espinoza-Gonzalez on February 24, 1950 in Villa Hidalgo SLP, Mexico.
Matilde is survived by her sons; Armando Mendez, Juan F. Mendez, Raul Mendez, daughter, Silvia Mendez, sisters; Maria Salaices, Nemesia Gonzalez, brother, Maximo Gonzalez. Matilde is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Matilde is preceded in death by her husband, Leonardo Mendez and her parents, Apolinar Gonzalez and Rosa Espinoza-Gonzalez.
