Melvin Cope, age 72, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2019. He was born on November 1, 1947 in Cass County to his parents William Cope and Katherine Duke Cope.
He is survived by his sister, Nancy Betty as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents, and brother Willie Cope.
Cremation arrangements are being held under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
