Patsy Tyer

Patsy Pate Tyer age 75, of Cookville, passed away on Monday November 27, 2017 in Tyler. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home with interment to follow at the Phillip Taylor Cemetery in Cookville. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Patsy was born December 12, 1941 to Bernice Pate and Maude Moore Pate in Cookville, she is survived her daughters; Teresa Taylor and husband David of Talco, Tammy Tyer Foster of Mt. Pleasant, and Tawana Tyer Tefteller and James Wiggins of Cookville, grandchildren; Laci Taylor, Jennifer Taylor, Ashley Bates Applewhite, and Justin Bates, great-grandchild Karsyn Applewhite, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Tyer, parents Bernice and Maud Pate, brother Sam Pate, and sisters; Loise McGee, Jewel Rountree, Mary Harris, Betty Williamson, and Barbara Jonas.
