 A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 29th at the Calvary Baptist Church in Talco at 2 p.m. and a visitation with the family after the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Talco Cemetery, P.O. Box 473, Talco, TX 75487.

Paul A. Miller Jr. age 90, passed from this life to his Heavenly Home on April 11, 2023, in Mount Pleasant, TX.  He was born on November 26, 1932, in Claremore, OK to Paul A. Miller Sr. and Mildred Walton Miller (Jones). He was a member of the Cherokee Tribe.

Paul was a long- time member of Calvary Baptist Church in Talco, TX where he served as a Deacon. He later became a member of South Jefferson Baptist Church in Mount Pleasant where he was a member of the choir. He was a graduate of the Talco High School Class of 1952.  He was a retired pipe fitter/welder moving from one construction job to another with his family.  He enjoyed traveling and singing gospel music with his wife of 71 years, Sue. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved camping and anything outdoors. The Texas Gulf Coast and Oregon Coast were two of his favorite areas along with many lakes and rivers.

In addition to his parents Paul Sr., Mildred Jones, and Rae Ann Miller, Paul Jr. is preceded in death by father-in-law Jack Easley, daughter Sherry Vanegas and Great Grandson Liam Gage.

Left to cherish Paul’s memory is his loving family: wife, Nelda Sue Easley Miller; daughter and son-in-law, Gena and Stephen Gage of Talco; daughter, Donna Rivera of Talco; son and daughter-in-law, Paul A. Miller III and Carol of Leominster, MA; son and daughter-in-law, Jarrod Miller and LaTonya of Johntown, TX; brothers Jerry Miller and wife Betty of Jacksonville, TX and Billy Miller of Talco;  grandchildren Barry Gage and wife Susan, Clint Gage and wife Heather, Helena Vanegas, Autumn Mosca, Dylan Miller, and Amanda Rivera as well as eleven great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild along with many nephews and nieces and other friends.
