Ronnie Hughes

Ronnie Dean Hughes, age 77, of Mt. Pleasant TX, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the Titus Regional Medical Center in Mt. Pleasant. Ronnie was born on November 20, 1944 in the Greenhill area of Mt Pleasant TX., to Floyd “Buck” and Betty (Matthews) Hughes. Ronnie was a retired construction worker and a member of Northridge Church of Christ.

Ronnie is survived by his daughter Sera Hughes, his sons: Charles Hughes, Dean Hughes, Don Hughes, and Rusty Hughes, his sister, Barbara Tosh, and his brother, Randy Hughes and wife Linda, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd “Buck” and Betty Hughes, his brothers; Sammy Hughes and Roger Hughes, his sister, Patsy Hughes Bomnskie, and one grandchild, Abigail Robbinson.

A Memorial Service for Ronnie will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 2:00 P.M at Curry- Welborn Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. Interment will follow at Old Union Cemetery.
