Ruby Cameron-Parker

Ruby Jean Cameron-Parker, age 75, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 in Mount Pleasant, TX. Services will be held Monday, March 23, 2015 at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M. with Bro. Glen Griffith officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery.
Ruby was born July 17, 1939 in Bogata to Bud Pope and Addie Strickland-Pope. She was a member of Nevill's Chapel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her five sons Clyde Wayne Parker of Mount Pleasant; Jerry Don Parker of Oklahoma City, OK; Lowell Gene Parker, Billy Bob Parker and Roy Glenn Parker all of Mount Pleasant; a sister, Celia Clark of Mount Pleasant; a brother, Clifton Pope of Paris; 18 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walley "Bud" Pope and Addie Mae Pope; husband, Fred Hale Cameron; and two brothers, Buddy Pope Jr., and Jesse James Pope.
Visitation will be held at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home, Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
