Tijuana Peterson

Tijuana Lee Peterson, 87, of Mt. Pleasant passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 in Mt. Pleasant. Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robby Holcomb officiating. Burial will follow in Clearwater Cemetery under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home. Family visitation is scheduled for Friday, November 14, 2014 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.

Tijuana was born September 23, 1927 to Arthur Moon and Jessie Jennings Moon. She married Harold Peterson July 6, 1946. She was a homemaker and a member of South Jefferson Baptist Church.

Tijuana is survived by her son Ronnie Peterson and wife Carol of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren Sheli Sanders of Sarasota, FL, Steven Peterson and wife Gina of St. Simmons Island, GA, Breelan Peterson of Pittsburg, TX and Denyse Blackwell of Ashville, NC; great grandchildren Ellie Peterson, Mimi Peterson, Jake Maglione, Lyndi Rayne Errington and Cooper Loyd Peterson; one great great grandchild. Mrs. Peterson was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, her parents, a brother and a sister.
