Tony Sloan

Graveside service for Tony Richard Sloan, age 75, of Talco, TX will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at Talco Cemetery with John Hines officiating. Kenneth Williams and Chris Gloria will be serving as pallbearers. Mr. Sloan passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on September 4, 2026.

Tony Sloan was born August 2, 1951 in Mt. Pleasant, TX to Johnnie Sloan and Sara Graf. He married Susan Tanton in Mt. Pleasant, TX, on January 18, 1989. Tony Sloan served in the United States Army.

Tony is survived by his wife Susan D’Ann Sloan of Talco, TX, his daughters; Candie Marie Jones of Mt. Pleasant, TX and Teletha Ann Sloan of Mt. Pleasant, TX. Sister, Lana Gloria of Fort Worth, TX and Brother, Mike Sloan of Talco, TX. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; J.E. and Sarah Sloan and his son, Stephen Michael Sloan.
