William Hammitt, age 79, of Mount Pleasant died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Mission Manor Nursing Home in Mount Vernon. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Nevill's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, May 3, 2013 from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home.
