Obituary

Christina (Tina) Hoffmann Denman passed away peacefully at her home in Dallas, Texas, Sunday, April 24, 2022.

Born October 30, 1949, Tina grew up in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, where she graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School.  She had a beautiful voice and was the lead in the operetta, "The Unsinkable Molly Brown," and she loved her class of '68.  She then attended Southern Methodist University where she was a Kappa Alpha Theta and received her Bachelor of Arts in Economics. She served as, "The Little Sisters of Minerva," and "Mam'selles," campus only modeling club, while attending SMU.

She loved her sports, her kids and grandkids and most importantly, her Lord and Savior.  She never met a stranger, and she was never short on words.  Tina had a special way about her that made everyone around her feel special.  She was genuine, selfless and truly cared deeply for anyone that crossed her path.  She was a wonderful witness to her faith and ended most conversations with, "May God Bless You."

Tina grew up from a very young age of playing the organ at the Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church for several years.   Following that, she became a long-time member of Trinity Baptist Church, where she never missed a sermon.  She worked in the District Attorney's Office, Northeast Texas Community College Athletic Department and most recently in real estate both in Mt. Pleasant and Dallas.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Anthony Christian Hudson and Amber Elizabeth Hudson, and by her daughter and son in law, Margaret McLean McDonald and Frederick Emmett McDonald IV and by her daughter, Laura Elizabeth Fermanian.  She is also survived by her grandchildren who lovingly called her, "Teeny," Elizabeth Grace (Libby) and George Alan Fermanian and Frederick Emmett McDonald V (Mac) and John August McDonald (Gus); her brother August Johnny Hoffmann; sister Nancy Gene Carpenter (Genie) and cousins Terry Chamness and Patricia Beall.

She was preceded in death by her parents Betty and August Christian Hoffmann Jr and her sisters Ladye Katherine Christian (Kaddy), and Alva Elizabeth Hoffmann (Betty).

The family is grateful for your love over the years and all your prayers.
