Christine "Nana" Hallford

Christine “Nana” Hallford, age 73, of Mt. Pleasant TX., passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, she was born on January 23, 1948 to Judson “J.T.” Blunt and Irene (Jones) Blunt Pickens.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tranquil Cemetery in Winfield TX., with Bro. Kerry Adameck officiating and James Blunt, Brandon Blunt, Billy Smith, Adam Horn, Daniel Hanson, and Clayton Blunt serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Blunt and Chad Ward.

“Nana” was a retired rancher otherwise known as the “Barn Goddess” who loved her family and enjoyed every minute of life, from hunting and fishing to spontaneous vacation trips with the family. She married Tom Hallford on July 22, 1983.

She is survived by her daughter, Niki Harris, her son, Jeremy Hallford and wife Mindy, grandsons; Richard “Ricky” Grubbs, and Cody Cox, granddaughters; Gillian and Alison, great grandchildren; Tanner Grubbs, Haidyn Grubbs, Hannah Grubbs, her two brothers; Wayne Blunt, and James Blunt and wife, Robin, her nieces and nephews; Ashley Blunt, Clayton Blunt, Brandon Blunt and wife Nicki, and Brittany Hanson and husband Daniel, as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Judson “J.T.” Blunt, and Irene Blunt Pickens and stepfather Kyle, and her loving husband Tom Hallford.

Memorials can be made to the Calvary Baptist Church of Talco TX in her honor.
