Cora Newman

Cora Lee Newman, age 96, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on December 11, 2020 at her home. She was born on March 14, 1924 in De Kalb, TX to George and Sarah Miller Batchelor.

A private graveside service will be held on December 12, 2020 at Gladewater cemetery.

Cora is survived by her son, Monty Lee Newman and wife Judy of Tyler, TX; daughter, Billie Ann Crump and husband Danny of Mt. Pleasant, TX; daughter, Susan Hipp and husband H.C. of Mt. Pleasant, TX; son, Michael Newman and wife Teresa of Midland, TX; sister, Ava Nell Sandlin of Wake Village, TX as well as 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill Newman, and numerous brothers and sisters.
