Gary Strawn

Gary Doyle Strawn, age 75, of Mt. Pleasant TX, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 26, 2021. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 2:00pm at Lone Star Cemetery in Cookville, TX.    He was born on April 29, 1946 to Jack and Lela Strawn in Omaha, Texas. Gary worked as a Self-employed contractor.  Proudly serviced in the United States Army from 1968 &1969 during the Vietnam War.

Gary is survived by his wife of 52 years Paulette Strawn; Children Gary Scott Strawn and wife Joyce, Elisa Paulette Strawn; Grandchildren Austin Strawn, Trenton Strawn, Kayla Swindell, Brandon Swindell, Bella Zambrano; Great-grandchild, Zion Carlson; Sister Shirley Littlepage; Numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents; son, Terry Doyle Strawn, and Brothers Audie Wade Strawn and Wayne Strawn.

In lieu of flower donation can be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
