Helen Thompson Reynolds, age 72, of Mt. Pleasant passed away peacefully on March 30, 2021 in Tyler, TX with her family at her side.
She was born on October 7, 1948 in Titus County to the late Homer Thompson and Lillian Milner Thompson. She was the youngest of five children. Helen attended school in Talco and later went on to receive an Associate Degree in Nursing at Northeast Texas Community College then proudly served her community for 32 years in various fields. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, an esteemed colleague and a true blessing to everyone who knew and loved her.
The family will have visitors on Friday, April 2, 2021 from 12:00 to 1:30 PM at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Greenhill Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Reynolds Hart and husband Eric; son, Chad Reynolds; grandchildren, Jessica Ayers and fiancé Cash, Dillon Smith and Kendra, Makenzie Pilgrim, Jayden Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Cooper, Addi, Owen, and Ike; brother, Jerry Thompson and wife Judy; sister-in-law, Jannie Thompson as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death is her husband of 52 years, Cecil Reynolds; parents, 2 brothers Ed and Johnny, and her sister, Nancy.
