Marjorie Jean (Tyler) Merrill

February 3, 1933 ~ November 16, 2021 (age 88)


Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Curry-Welborn Funeral Home for Marjorie Jean Merrill, age 88, who passed away at her home in Mount Pleasant, TX, Marjorie was born February 3,1933 in Montery , NY to Leonard Lewis Tyler and Ruth Dann Tyler.

Marjorie is survived by five of her eight children, Thomas Merrill and his wife Barbara of Dalton, NY, William Merrill and his wife Annette of Corning, NY, Daughter-in-law Cindy Merrill (wife of Deat) Beaver Dams, NY, Ann Francis and  husband Danny of Mount Pleasant, Tx, Nancy Harrison and Husband Danny of Sumner, Tx, Daughter-in-law Juliana Merrill( wife of John), Paris, Tx, and Jeff Merrill of Detroit, TX    

Also surviving her are 23 grandchildren: Tony Merrill, Michelle LaBrier, Angela McFall, Billy Merrill, Greg Merrill, Jackie Merrill, Tammy Sanford, Harold Delamater, Michael Herron, Lisa Moore, Jesse Herron, Dustin Wolfe, Cody Wyatt Wolfe, Travis Chance Wolfe, Crystal Peel, Clay Francis, Kelly Hanson, Jason Hanson, John Edward Merrill Jr., Kaylon Merrill, Amber Brooke Joseph, Megan Merrill, Rebecca Merrill. Numerous great grandchildren and great/great grandchildren. Also her loving sisters, Jane Mullins of Post Oak, Tx, June Merrill of Beaver Dams, NY, and a brother Lenard Tyler, Beaver Dams, NY. Many nieces, nephews and their families.                     

 She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, William Wyatt Merrill, two sons, Deat Merrill of Beaver Dams, NY, John Merrill of Paris, TX, and his infant son Robert Dean Merrill. Two daughters, infant daughter  Marjorie, and Barbara Gail Armistead and her husband Walter John Armistead of Paris. Two brothers, Jesse Tyler of Campbell, NY, and Walt Tyler of Painted Post, NY. Brother-in-law John G Mullins of Post Oak,TX. She was also preceded in death by her very special friend Sonny Duncan of Talco Tx.    

A Memorable Service will be held at a later date to be announced
