Paulette Strawn

Paulette Strawn, age 68, of Mt. Pleasant TX, went to be with the Lord on December 8, 2021. She was born on September 27, 1953 to Vester and Bonnie Bell Derrick in Mt. Pleasant, Tx.

Paulette married the love of her life Gary Doyle Strawn on October 4, 1969. She went to spend eternity with her husband of 52 years who recently passed away on November 26, 2021.

Paulette is survived by her son, Gary Scott Strawn and his wife Joyce, Daughter Elisa Paulette Strawn, grandchildren, Austin Strawn, Trenton Strawn, Kayla Swindell, Brandon Swindell, Bella Zambrano, great-grandchildren, Zion Carlson, brother, Donald Derrick, numerous nieces and nephews, extended loved ones, and many friends.

Paulette was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gary Doyle Strawn, son, Terry Doyle Strawn, sisters Pearlene Stacks and Patsy Charlton.

Paulette loved spending time with her grandbabies and loved anyone she ever knew as her own. Paulette was loved by many.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Curry Welborn Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant, TX. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Lone Star Cemetery in Cookville, TX.
