Bonnie Simmons

Funeral Director & Embalmer/Manager

Bonnie was born and raised in Mount Pleasant, Texas. She graduated from Mount Pleasant Christian Academy in 2019. She graduated from Northeast Texas Community College in May of 2024 with her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Funeral Service. She has since gained her licensure in funeral directing and embalming. She is grateful to have the privilege to serve families with the upmost compassion and respect in their time of need. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her son.

Dakota Moore

Provisional Funeral Director & Embalmer

Dakota was born in Graham, TX and graduated from Oologah High School in Oologah, OK in 2012. He attends mortuary school at Northeast Texas Community College. He is looking forward to getting to work and help people in their time of need. In his free time, he likes to hunt, fish and spend time with his 3 sons.

Madison Kunaschk

Funeral assistant

Madison was born in Greenville, Texas, and moved to Mount Vernon in 2014. She graduated from Chapel Hill High School in 2018. She attended Northeast Texas Community College from 2016-2018, where she graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences. She then attended Northeast Texas Community College again from 2022-2023, where she became licensed as a Cosmetology Operator. She now is going back to College, where she will complete her Associate’s of Applied Science in Funeral Service. While on her lengthy college journey, she gained interest in mortuary sciences, and is now getting to pursue this field. She believes that serving families with care, and compassion is one of the most important parts of her job. She looks forward to showing families care and compassion they need in their time of grief. When Madison is not working, she is spending time with her husband, and daughter. They enjoy watching movies together, and being outside within nature.
